What is this on my snail?

    You're most likely right Arcain. I'm a believer of the wait-and-see method anyways, so we'll keep our fingers crossed for both the snail and the coral.

    Well, it looks like it's doing very well in the light. It's fully open and I finally have a better pic of it to show.

    Good news. The coral (Porites) seems to be thriving in our PC lighting. The snail has been all over the tank, but the coral is growing very fast. I've been dosing a small amount of strontium to help out. Here's a new pic.

    I had porites under PCs too. They grew slowly under PCs. They're growing like crazy under T5s.

    just picked up a snail today with the samething mine has green polyps though looks cool hows yours doing did you ever frag it sorry for bringing up this post

    For the record snails don't steal shells. They are born with them and the shell grows as they do.
