What is this green slime

    I just started to notice this about 5 days ago. Its like green snot.. What is this and what can i do to get rid of it..Thanks

    No not that new.. Its older than 6 months..

    your tank is still a little infant mabey a totler hahha. ya i think its cyno. what are your prems???? your at the age for cyno

    Please list phosphate, nitrate, pH and alkalinity. Also what your circulation in gph is along with your tank size.

    Ok just tested. NO2, NO3, PH, and Phosphates
    Everything is zero.. PH is 8.2 My salinity is a tad high. Just added some water i was a bit low. was 1.026.. I am stumped here any thoughts? I may take some water to LFS and have it tested to. Its getting worse in there. Looks like snot drips. and some red algae now to.

    ok well its cyno we know that for sure. this is a tough one to beat. i would a 3 days lights out. no ligt at all can go into the tank though. even room lights, and sun light. thats how i beat it when i had a small patch. but all of your tanks go though this, you tank is still in somewhat of a cycal
