What Is The Guideline On Water Chem.?

    For the record, I would like to know what is the guide line to follow when checking/testing the water quality for a reef tank. For ex. what should be the right numbers to have for salt, cal, alk, ph, mag, dkh, etc. dont worry about amm, nitrites or nitrates or temp. Thank you in advance, Luna

    Calcium,pH and alk are one in the same as they alter each others readings.levels. An increase on one will cause one or more to lower or rise depending on how much you plan on adding. A decrease wil have a negative effect in other ways.
