Urgent what is killing my serpent sea star

    I have had a serpent sea star for about 3 days it came in a reef cleaner package, and this only happens at night but evrey morning a little more of him is gone here are some pics of this morning.

    It has not acclimated to your tank. They sometimes just do that. Sorry to hear.

    How long did you acclimate him? What is your SG/Salinity? Is your salinity stable?

    I'd say it's either a problem with acclimating, parameters, maybe some sort of voltage.

    I have never been able to keep a star. I drip acclimate for two hours, test and retest SG/Salinity, and still they fade away.

    Do you have a ground probe? Could be stray electricity in your tank.;)
