I have a piece of LR that has some button polyps on it.
It's been in my 58gal tank since I started the cycle last Sept. - 10 months or so.
I recently moved the LR and was able to see the side of it that was hidden against the back of the tank.

    This is what I found:

It is about the size of a dime when closed and almost quarter sized when open.

That's kinda what I thought ... but, I'm still unsure.

If it is an anemone ... anyone know what kind?

Looks like a Rock Anemone. Stays small and doesn't move around much

    Ding! Ding! Ding!

I think we have a winner ... that looks exactly like it.
Seems to be mixed reviews on if they are "reef safe" or not.
I'll keep an eye on it for now and see.

    Thanks.
