What is growing out of my live rock?

    Okay, so I picked up some mushrooms on this nice piece of LR and now about 3 days later some weird pointy things are growing out of it. There were some growing out of the rock when I picked it up. They seem "glass" like when you touch them. It seems to be a dark purple color.. Any ideas??

    They look like vermitid snail. Harmless but their feeding threads can irritate corals if the snail is large. The one on the left could be one of the large ones. the other two won't be much of an irritant IME.

    After looking there are about 15-20 on this rock... They are living below the purple algae

    Any ideas what I should do?
