    No problem.The book I have says-Good animal for reef tanks.Decorative and harmless.No real care necessary.

    IMO you should keep it and even try to get it to thrive. macro's are a very pretty adition. they double up as shelter for smaller fishes and crabs and food for some inverts. any macro algae is good to have because they also reduce elements like phosphates.
