what is a fair asking price?

    This is one of my 7 clams that I have in my tank....It is 7" long and 4" tall. I am not sure how wide it is when fully opened but it opens very nicely.

    However it is
    1. Outgrowing the place I keep it and have difficult time finding new location
    2. Is drawing out massive amts of calcium as it is GROWING VERY FAST!

    So what do you all think a fair asking price would be? I am more interested in selling it locally to my club only as I have never shipped live goods and dont want to start this summer

    I would say anywhere between $150-$250, but dont quote me. Go to Live aquaria and the like and research it and get a better idea. Also depends on the "model"..........lol

    thanks all....I am deciding now whether or not I want to sell it. Now that I am faced with having to have a calcium reactor I might keep it! However, it would help with the payment of one! hmmmm.....

    my lfs has the exact same clam in a dt. it looks about the same size , abiout as big as a football? i could always find out from them what their asking price would be.
