hey yall, I'm pretty new to the hobby, Have a 110 g live rock and fish set up. Its been going great but lately I have some things growing on my live rock, What are they ? I took a picture and circled the two things I'm talking about as labeled A and B. Any help and info on what there are and if they are harmful or not would be a great help!

    Thanks,
    Rudely

Ummm, kind of hard to tell from pics.

But probably what you have there are either some kind of sponges or truncates.

Lots of LR usually has such things.

Keep eye on and see if anything happens.

I have had my tank since 2002 and not until the last 2 years that I have seen these on my live rock as well.

I was told they were sponges.

    Kinda funny...
I used to have a pair of Pink Skunk Clowns; I thought they were eggs when I first saw them appear.

Enjoy they are neat I have watched them get bigger and bigger over the last couple years.
