I actualy heard of people keeping their livestock for up to 3 months like that, without any losses. Of course he had a power head or two in there, etc.

Good luck on your move, I know how stressful that can be, for the humans I mean!

Fed the reef tank a tiny scoop of Reef Pearls and dosed calcium. Fed the triggers and angels a snack of NLS pellets. Left for work at 7:30. Still working, and probably won't get home until after the main lights are off. Then I'll feed the reef fish Nutramar Ova, and tonight the corals will probably get Fauna Marin LPS food, and Reef Pearls again. (Last night it was Nutramar Ova). Dose alk to the reef tank, and vodka to the reef and FOWRL systems. Tonight's menu for the triggers and angels will be scallops, smelt and NLS pellets. Big Mamma will get the same, only more. Skimmer and filter socks were just cleaned yesterday, so no need to worry about that for a few days. Basic work week routine.

Yep. Not my first tank. Just as exciting setting this up though.

I mounted some frags in base rock and put them in their "permanent" location.

Also, did the daily algae scrub. Who needs P90X? Give me an acrylic tank with a nitrate problem and a scrubby pab on a stick. That's all the daily workout I need. :)

I added a powerhead in my sump to keep detritus in suspension!
