My neighbor got me interested I'm mating biology when I was 10 years old. :) he had an Achilles Tang, and a Red Open Brain Coral that spiked my interest.

The clown trigger was the fish that got me thinking about salt water tanks. The colors of the rest of the fish didn't hurt either. No coral really got me. Just sort of slid into to reef keeping as a challenge.

I had no idea back then they were "difficult". And back then they REALLY were, because they were WC, full of cooties and mainly took live food.

But I did it.... 15 years later and I still keep them.

Looking on line at F&S freshwater and seen the saltwater section. Took me over a year to get the nerve up to try it. Was going to do a fish only but the live rock i bought at LFS had GSP, purple mushrooms, and other soft corals on them already. So went head first into reef.

The more I think about it, I must have just needed a place to practically burn money, and I found it, LFS.

I have had 11 different SW tanks...

    1g, 5g, 8g, 12g, 18g, 29g, 34g, (2) 55g, 72g, 75g.. geez!
