one more product to add to my test
if I have this right, one of the contributors to this thread should recognise it?

I will run with Purple Up after the Aragamilk (new saltwater not the same so no cumulative effects)

and product number 3 will be Kalkwasser -Ill mix as per packaging directions and use in my top off water on a daily basis (No live stock = No risks ) so dosing direct to tank will be OK for these experiments
PS the instructions on this product do make it clear that you should test, and also indicate target calcium levels.

Thank you for the indepth answers Steve,

Would you be interested in adding those buffering blocks to your experiment?

I have always wondering about their true benefit to a sw tank.

    TIA

Yes SeaLab was the brand I was thinking of.

I used them several years ago, and was surprised at how well I thought they worked. But my knowledge of water chemistry was much more basic then, so I have no hard fast results.

    I did Makeshift crew

I already use Seachem product almost exclusively ( availability when I started and never found a reason to change)

I use Advantage Calc and Mag plus reef builder
    I have used Reef Complete
I use Purigen, Matrix and many other Seachem products

so I would have no hesitation in adding these to my list if I come across them
