    These are the LEDs i will be getting for my new build just thought i would share a little info. I have been talking to jonathan at reefwerks.com and bar none these are one of the best LEDs dollar for dollar you can buy.

    Thank you but that is the cobb wrx mine is done with all HKS :) and you wont find a price but i can tell you the price is worth it especially if there not much more then a few others that are listed on here. but you get what you pay for with light especially LEDs

    What diodes does it use? And judging by the layout of them, by the time you add optics it will have somewhat of a narrow spread I would imagine. Looks like a nice unit though.

    No optics on this fixture but will still work perfectly for a 30" tall tank and it uses the 3w Cree diodes. One of the things i thought was really cool is that you can select what kelvin you would like for your bulbs to be at when ramping up and throughout the times during the day. Thank you for your input :)

    It says you can get 40, 60, or 80 degree optics. You most definitely will need at least 60 degree optics for a 30 inch tall tank if you want to grow anything.

    Lol sorry i should have read more closely, but i have been informed that mostly only tanks that are taller then 37" need optics with these fixtures.
