So I'm shopping around for LEDs for my 75 gallon reef tank, currently I have the aquatic life r7s fixture with two 150 hQIs and 4 T5, I was thinking if getting two photon 16s from reefbreeders but came across some Ai Sol Blue modules, does anyone have experience with these?

The link is for three modules and controller but he said he will discount the price if I just want two modules and the controller, opinions?

Reefbreeders just take so dang long I might go with the evergrow fully programmable which are basically the photon 16s but will arrive sooner

Those AI lights are very nice! Please keep in mind the AI Sol Blues have a much narrow optics compared to the newer AI Vega Colors so that means they will penetrate deeper in the aquarium. They are recommended for tall tanks. With your 75 gallon aquarium, you will need to hang it as high or higher as shown in that Craigslist ad. If your fine with that, then it would be a fine choice.

IMO Razor, Radion PRO, DIY, or Reefbreeders would be a better option.

I love my SOL. The only thing about them is that they're expensive. Price wise, they're not really made for large tanks so I would suggest going DIY.

What about these? Standard 75g Tank Dimmable Kit - Rapid LED

Go LED, so much you can do with this technology.

    I'm a fan of DIY
