What did you do to your aquarium today?

Thats what I was thinking.. If I were in there shoes I would forget and I would be looking at the tank wondering whats wrong with it ;D.. lol..

 

Dosed the reactor in my sump with 1mL of carbon solution (5% sucrose, 40% vodka, 55% distilled malt vinegar).

 

Just re-plumbed my tank, removed redundent closed loop (it was replaced with an mp40), fixed my seaweed feeding clip. About to do a 10% water change.

 

This is what I did yesterday:
Dosed 2 part
Added RO to ATO container
Emptied skimmer cup
Moved a few corals that were too close to the front glass
Scraped coraline with razor
Cleaned front glass with mag float
Observed tank while kneeling in front of tank
Fed mysis

 

I put me new pendants over my tank to replace my junky 2x250 reflector for my halides. A little bit of wiring, and I as all done.

I also cleaned out the skimmer, added pickling lime to my top off reservoir, and filled the reservoir with fresh RODI.

My SO is taking care of the tank while I am gone tomorrow afternoon, until Sunday evening, so I portioned off 2 cups of food for her to feed the fish.

 

Looks good I have that same towel good for water changes! and but sure to explain feeding very well for some reason I let some one do it once and they did it all wrong even added tap water to the system!

 

My ATO takes care of the top off. Danielle is well aware of how particular I am about my tank. Really all she needs to do is thaw out 1 cup of food a night, feed the tank, and make sure everything is all right.

That towel was used as a glare blocker from the old MH reflectors. Now it looks even worse since it has no purpose really, so my next project is to make a door above the tank, and finish off the trim work.

 

i put some aiptasia-x in alot of little pices of aiptasia in my 75gal ...hope it works

 

put more ro/di water in my ato bin....

 

10% water change, pull out some old carbon, clean protien skimmer, change and wash filter sock. I may head down to a fish store about 40 miles from my house to check it out.
