what coral can i grow?

    Hello i am purchesing 2 150 watt mh light filtures:) my only question is what type of coral will I be able to grow my tank will be 21 inches deep.:confused:

    If they are halogen the spectrum is too low and they get hot as hell.

    so i wont be able to grow any lps or sps? i am a noob with the lighting

    What is the brand of the fixtures you are looking at? What size is your tank?

    they are coralife fixture on a 72 gallon bow front

    Then they are mh , you should be able to grow whatever you want as long as you water quality and params are good.

    SPS need a lot of flow, sometimes they don't work out well because SPS prefer low nutrient tanks while LPS prefer more nutrients. :)
