So sorry to hear, it sounds as though you might have gotten sick clams for the dealer. How is the big one doing?

He looked a little off yesterday, but I haven't turned the lights on yet today. I'm going to do a big WC (20 gallons) tonight and I'm hoping that will help if it is a contagious disease that's going around.

Sorry about your clams. Hopefully the water change helps.Do you have a bucket that you can keep your clams in?

Clam condoms for the diseases that are going around?

Well I only have one clam left. So if he dies, I will just go clam-less for a long time and do lots of water changes, and hope one day I can get another!

    Thanks. :)

Thanks for that article, it is very interesting. I guess it could be lighting, but I have very high lighting and the clam did have clean, new growth on its shell, which according to the article, means it was getting enough light.

I only read the lighting part so far, and will read the rest. It is very well written. Thanks!

Thank you!! I hope so too.

Have you given the remaining clam a freshwater dip? If not you may want to do just that.
