I mean, the midwest (that means your area, horkn) came up with Dominos, Papa John's, Pizza Hut, Godfathers, and Little Caesar's; all of the most vile abominations ever labeled "pizza" grew up in your neighborhood.

This is how pizza is NEVER supposed to be:

You're missing out on the taste a wood-fired oven imparts to the thin crust, and getting a doughy, bland pizza.

Yeah, it's crazy. People get told this and think it is the truth.

If they used RO water, the Za would probably taste even better:)

BTW, I made Rick Bayless's Pork Carnitas the other day for he first time, and OMG was it easy and tasty. Even those that cannot cook, or think they can't can make this. It's literally 3 ingredients if you include the 1/3 cup of water. 4 lb boneless pork shoulder, salt, and water. 2 hours of cooking and it's awesome. I wonder if it tastes better with RO or NYC water. I used tap water from my personal well. Maybe next time I will use RO water.;D

Don't make me go there with all the bad things NY NJ has started. We have great pizza here (not any of those places you mentioned), you know the stuff that is floppy and not like picture 1 you posted. It's cooked in a wood fired oven too.
BTW, I have lived on both coasts, but I live here now.

no no. I'm not saying the crust is too thin, I'm saying the overall pizza. A pizza needs toppings, not a razor thin layer of whatever is on that slimy skinny thing. :cheesy::p. Thick doughy crust isn't great either.

Wood-fired pizza is awesome! Especially when it's made in Chicago and each slice weighs about a pound. ;D heaven. Sometimes with another wood fired crust on top just like a southern blueberry pie
