Wouldn't it be nice if a lionfish got them lol, they have no clue. Not to mention the skimmer goes nuts, who knows what was on the hands.

The day someone did that to my tank would be the day they lost a hand in a tragic butcher knife accident. :furious2:

oh man, there's some good ones here. some that i didn't even know bothered me!

1 dripping water on the glass. (i'm OCD about clean glass. one drop and i have to clean the whole tank)

2 cleaner shrimp refusing to let me target feed my corals.

3 know-it-all's who don't even work at the LFS but felt compelled to tell you why you're buying the wrong thing. ("i'm sorry, do you work here?" "no" "then get bent!")

i've had the privilege of hearing these gems among many others:

"A 6line is the worst mistake you can make, he will eat all your corals"
"PC lighting is the way to go. MH and T5 are just a fad"
"why wouldn't you drill your tank? i've owned nothing but tempered glass tanks and drilled every one of them"
"actually sea horses don't really like to be cold."
"everything eats it, you really can't overfeed with Cyclopeeze"

Have you ever had the urge to create a red bellied pirahna tank just to see who would lose their fingers first? :devil1::devil:

one of my repeat offenders is my nephew. He is 7 or 8. He should know better. After a few incidents, I had a sit down with him and his dad (in-law here) - if it happens again, he's no longer welcome. I talked with his dad beforehand though, without him; it was a bluff. I wouldn't ever actually not let my nephew over.

He's very respectful of it now.

I have a few, but my biggest one is people mispronouncing "Chaeto"

    It's KAY TOE, not cheeto.
