Unknown days after we got this live rock (maybe a week) I was using a strong LED flashlight to peer into the crevasses of it. I noticed some clear worm-looking organisms with reflective eyes(?), maaaaaybe 1/8th to 3/16th of an inch long, darting deep inside and away from the bright light. Well, roughly 3 weeks later I do my daily peeking in and I see a swarm of young ones inside!! What are they?!?

Still images can't quite capture what my crappy video could. About the 33 second mark you'll see them. Sorry for the crazy video, I was using one hand to operate my phone and the other one for the flashlight.

Watch where the bright light is, that's where I'm looking. I show the tank so you can get a size reference. Oceanic BioCube, 29-30 gallons.

While we're at it, what species is the blue fish with the yellow underside? o_O

Be careful using a flashlight in your tank. You could easily blind fish or inverts. Purchase a blue led flashlight to be safe.B-)
