    Hi everyone,

Does anyone know what this is...I found it on my Xenias and managed to get it...I kinda knicked it too as you can see. Is it safe or should I get rid of it?

    Thanks in advance!

I don't know what it is, but after that nick I would say reef safe or not, his time might be up. :S

Looks like a brittle worm, most are reef safe and actually can be a real asset for getting rid of waste in the tank. There are a few types that can harm inhabitants from what I have learned on these forums. Looks like that one is pretty darn good size.

Definitely not a peanut worm, it has some bristles on it. Not sure what it is tho. Id say flush it.
