Are you sure they can't sting coral? My corals near them seem closed up since I noticed them.

They should be alright, maybe just iritating the coral a little but wont harm anything, they crawl across my red planet last night and the polyps came in, and today they are out and healthy still

they could be spinoids like said above but look like spaghetti worms to me....either way they're harmless and just eat detritus....maybe some fish would eat them maybe some angels/wrasses not sure im sure someone will chime in though

the spinoid worms are a phase and will mostly pass. its common to have a bloom about 6 months in on a tanks life. most of them will go away on their own. if your losing corals I would look to another source rather than your scavangers. I also know they do have predators but i have no idea atm what will eat them, possible some wrasses?
