If you can somehow pry them off, then go ahead. But to me, a few less mushrooms in exchange for getting rid of him is a small price to pay considering what he can/has damaged.

you should put a nyquil pill into a peice of krill or something it would eat and that would deffinetly put it to sleep and maybe even for good. but i would take the rock out first cause you wouldnt want any other fishies goin to sleep.

 

Ok so I have had the rock soaking in fresh water for a while and the damn thing doesnt come out! I know it was in there because I saw it right before I pulled the rock out. How long should I leave it soaking? Already the bucket the rock is in is full of tiny little critters I didnt even know I had Too bad I killed em!

 

maybe just try nuking the rock itself if he wont come out? im sure he'd die during the nuking process

When I had an apistasia? *sp* I couldnt get rid of it, tried everything. got so ticked off that i ended up boiling some water and soaking the rock in it for a day, Never did the beast come out again. lol.

 

that is the ugliest thing i have ever seen.
