    The new WavePoint LED aquarium light had this 3reefer seeing stars at Reef-A-Palooza and I made a mental note to start wearing shades for these demos. The 72 (3 watt) LEDs on the 36" fixture cranked out a nice white/blue white. What this particular WavePoint LED lamp lacked in digital contols, it made up in brute force. It was extremely bright and made me begin to think that you can grow corals with LEDs. Prices and more pics inside.

    Holy smokes, they are making a killing on those.

    I am working on a company to manufacture LED lights for commercial application. I was told by multiple LED manufcaturers that 3W LED's werent going to be here for a little while. Doesnt mean they arent...just what i was told.

    The prices will come down. Im staying with my T5's. I know what its costs them to build that light because i work with the manufacturers - and i wont pay it!
