Water Shimmer Effect Reduction

    Alright so I completely re-did my pump and MP10, so far the water looks like it has calmed down a lot. When I install my hood wednesday ill send up an update.

    Like as mentioned before the surface movement is what creates the shimmer effect.You might can try raising your lighhts if you have any room.Does it change any with the hood open?If it gets less when the hood is open try painting the inside of the hood a dark matte color.also try the mesh from brs.Just some suggestions.

    Instead of individual optics why not try some sort of light diffuser...I think this would be cheaper and might work (downside is how much light will it kill)

    Thanks guys, I decided to completely redo my water return and was able to reduce some shimmer. Iv gotten use to the strobe effect.
