Water Question

    I understand that when you simply top up your system you should use freshwater only as the salinty in the tank stays the same but what about when you do your water changes, I assume you would use saltwater than right?

    Actually, you top off with freshwater because the salinity level in your tank goes up as water evaporates.

    And yes, you should use salt water (with the same specific gravity as your tank water) when you do water changes.
