I had my monti cap near the top of the tank to get max light, but I think it might be getting too much flow and some algae is starting to grow in the strong current parts of it. So I moved it to moderate flow, though lower (mid-level) in tank.

Do you think it will be ok?

I think it will be fine.... Mine is mid level in my tank.. but I do have MH... I bet that tunze really moves some water in your tank.

Thanks! That's what I was thinking.
Hopefully it will look better today when I get home.

    Matt,

The algae grew where the water was flowing most? I never knew that. What kind of algae is it? I might need to move some of my corals if it is the same.

There is algae that does not mind strong water currents. I have some type of hair green algae growing on my return lock-line.

Yes. I wouldn't worry about it if you don't have it yet. I moved it and it is doing better and a lot of the algae has gone from the top although I still saw some on the side.
Overall I think it's doing better.
