water flow in open reef at red sea consevartory

    Hello All

    i have recevently visited a public aquarium in the red sea and noticed that the aquarium pool full with sps has no wave pumps, i managed to catch a marine biologist there and he mentioned that there is no need of wave maker in this pool tank , they just pump out the gravel sand from time to time and replace it with new one.

    i wonder why we are all mentioning strong waterflow for coral in our tanks while public aquarium as this one do not use it. i will also like to publish some pictures that i took, but cant find the right forum to publish it , as i am new at 3reef i would be glad that someone will direct me to the right forum to publish pictures i took in my trips.
