    Do you commonly test your water right before a chance to see how it is doing at it's most funky?

    I do so tonight, did a change about 10 days ago.

    Ammonia .50
    Nitrates 0
    Nitrites 0
    PH 8.4
    Calcium 460
    Alkalinity 2.2
    Magnesium 1100
    Phosphates 2.0
    Gravity 1.025

    I try to dose my DT water the same chemistry as the salt, so that when WC time comes, it's good to go. It's simplified the whole process and have had great results.
