    Here's my params after the cycle-ending WC. This is for a reef tank
    NH3 NO2 = 0.0
    NO3 = 10-15ppm
    Mg= 1200
    Ca= 360
    Alk= 8.5 dKH
    pH= 8.1
    Temp =80
    Salinity= 1.025
    I think I need to bring the Mg and Ca up. I have no livestock yet, as I am waiting to do, probably, another water change to see if that reduces the nitrates and brings the Mg and Ca up. I have Red Sea Coral Pro salt that I have yet to mix and add. The water I used for the WC was purchased from the LFS.

    I am considering supplementing with Kents Tech-M to raise the Magnesium. I am hoping that will in turn raise the available Ca ions by keeping them from combining with C to form CaCO3.

    Any suggestions? Don't forget to take the Poll up top!

    Thanks

    There is no need to waste the money raising it until you have corals present.I would just do another wc with the RSCP .This will slowly raise your parameters which is what you want.I would avoid dosing for now as you are new and it is easy to throw the chemistry out of balance.
