I'm taking it to the pros (you all) to get some ideas of what kind of soft corals/beginner level to put in my tank. I have a T5 fixture. Any suggestions? My tank is almost entirely purple from my live rock, so I'd like to get some contrast in colors going. Thanks for any suggestions! I like the look of GSP, it reminds me of golf turf!

How many T5's and what wattage? I run (4) 24 watt T5's and have all kinds of LPS and Softies.

Time for a better fixture and more watts for that 75 gallon so you can put everything in there!! I can't believe that covers a 75 gallon tank. Sunday I'll take you to a wholesale store for corals and fish. Dont buy anything until then.

I don't have any plans to buy soon, was just throwing it out there. I'm keeping my eye on CL for a better fixture now that I stopped hemorrhaging money getting my tank set up!

Long story short. One of my blue green chromis was getting picked on, so I caught him and brought him in to my LFS. Ended up trading him for a Duncan frag!

Thanks! I woulda sent you a pic, but you're not getting them for some reason. I have it in the sand for now. From what I've read I start at the bottom and work its way up. Sounds like life!

congrats on the coral. Duncans are said to be a relatively easy coral to keep. I've not had them personally but really like them!

I had duncans before they had an aptasia hiding on it and the whole tank went to hell.
