Hey, new here and wondering if someone can help me figure out what modes me what on my vortech pump.

I bought the pump used and it didn't come with a manual. I don't know what modes there are and what color represents what mode.

    Thanks for the help!

I actually have another question. I don't think I am doing the steps properly. I wanted to use nutrient export mode (or long wave as it is marked in the manual) but when I am trying to set it but after I follow the steps the pump remains at a constant speed.

Here is what I am doing:
    1) Hit mode until I reach pink
    2) Hit set, the light dims.
    3) I turn the knob to my maximum setting
    4) I hit set, the light comes back on.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I'd like to clear something up first which may help.

    Pink is long wave mode.
Purple is NTM (nutrient transport mode)

You will not have a purple setting unless you have the ES (eco-smart) driver.

Ah, thanks for the heads up. Is the upgrade worth it in your opinion? I read a few reviews and the reviews were mixed. I'd be upgrading for the Nutrient transport mode, is that alone the extra 120 dollars plus shipping?
