Most likely the bladder was punctured by the diver and it was fine at DD. When it shipped to you the bladder became infected in the bag of poo. It may recover. It might help to put it in a hospital tank with antibiotics or the stress from catching it may make it worse. Is it any better today?

Personally I wouldn't move the fish. She's eating and acclimating just fine. Less stress = better able to fight whatever's going on. I'm sending good vibes her way :)

She ate a ton last night, is not scared, etc. She's out all over the place, hangs with every body.....Just can't swim right!

DD reps emailed me back and said there may be a blockage and to feed her a pea. How am I going to get her to eat pea?!

And - there was tons of poop in the bag, so I doubt she's constipated. But might be worth a try.

Maybe thinly slice a pea, like shaving it and throw it in with some pieces of nori or flake?

Make sure to feed here only the inner part of the pea-not the skin :)

Pea was no go. She still swims weird, but someone else who saw her said it didn't look like swim bladder, but he had no idea what it was.

She eats like a pig, isn't shy, etc. She does not graze, which I find strange...I don't know if that's related to the weird swimming or not.

Maybe this is just how she's going to be? Not exactly relaxing or pleasant watching her swim....but I guess I'll get used to it. lol
