I have now seen about 30-40 of these appearing on the overflows and on the glass. I have seen them on rocks but cant figure them out? They are all the same size and look like a very tiny snial shell. The best way I can put it is it looks like a little white dog poo but it looks like its a worm. its to small to get a pic of? They literally dont more and are hard when I go to scrape them off the glass? I alo say them on some of the rocks and I thought it was old holes coming out of the rock that hardned but new I see them all over the tank? I know its hard without pics but any thoughts?

I have the same things in my tank about a hundred but the closet thing I see to them is the
pyramid snail but I never see them on my snails they are all over the rocks at night.

I didn't see you said you scraped them.lol yeh probably tube worms.
the ones I have are like a micro snails they have a shell like the pointy spiral ones you see in CC.I picked one up with tweezers and I coundn't cruchy the shell there pretty hard for being that small. they don't move very fast.

seems like you are talking about the little tube worms. Their tube is just like you said "white dog poo" lol. look really close at one and see if you see a tiny feather coming out.

there good filter feeders, just make sure they don't clog your impellers or any other equipment.
