I have a 72 in. Nova Extreme T5 fixture. It has 2 rows or six 36in bulbs. I was looking at some of the different t5 combinations on the thread and saw some using UVL and ATI bulb combinations and found a pic of a tank that I really liked with the combination I have listed below. Anyway, I am ordering from marinedepot.com and when I click on a UVL bulb it says to pick a style with a choice of going with individual reflectors or not. With the fixture I have, which option do I choose??

I am thinking of going with a combination of

    UVL super actinic
    UVL super white
    ATI Blue plus
    ATI blue plus
    UVL super white
    UVL super actinic

Choose the one without reflectors since your fixture has them.

I would swap one of the ATI BP and UVL SW pairs for better color mixing. Don't be afraid to move the bulbs around to get a look you like. Your current placement may look very blue and dark.

Thanks for the info. Are there any particular bulb combinations that you like, because I do not want to go too blue.

Your combo may look very blue. The super white is the actinic white which has a solid pink look to it. I would go with 4 x ATI Blue Plus, 1 x UVL Actinic White and 1 ATI Aquablue Special on each side.

It is a good, strong medium blue.

Here is a good shot of my tank:
The bulbs are in order from front to back ATI Coral Plus, ATI Blue Plus, CP, BP.

The tank takes on a bluer look with BP,CP, BP, CP as the order.

You could do 50/50 CP or UVL AW and BP if you want. The tank would look a little more red with the UVL bulbs so I would suggest 4BP and 2 UVL in that case.

Sorry to keep bothering you 2in10, but one more quick question.

After looking at various t5 lighting combos on 3reef past discussions and seeing some of the other advice you have given other 3reefers, I think I am going with some combination of:

    2 ATI blue plus
    2 ATI aqua blue
    1 ATI purple plus
And I still need one more bulb.

What would u recommend as the last bulb. I am not wanting the tank to be to blue.

    Thanks
