    hi,
    i read in a book not so long ago that some marine tanks use expanding foam (the type you fill gaps round windows with ) to stick rock to glass and even to add more of a landscape to your tank. has anybody tried this and if so was there any issues i should know as i might give it a go.

    thanks jamie;D

    that sounds dangerous. isnt there some sort of chemical in the foam that would linger and kill all life?

    I have seen threads about it on RC and things like that...never used it personally and I have recently heard that there is anecdotal reports of the foam leeching undesirables into the water column. I think someone in my club has used it, give me a bit to dig it up....

    But on the otherhand, sometimes it good to be a pioneer right?!

    Good luck!

    using foam

    thanks guys.i did read it in a book called reef secrets, it was used in a very large tank, there are so many brands of the same thing all slightly different from the next.think it will take some major research but could be great.
