    they're usually start off 1 color and then slowly change to another color! Unless its brand new or spent, it shouldn't be 1 colorr and since your getting some TDS its prob on its last legs! look at the top and see if you caan see another color, prob blue!

    Does it have a flush valve? If so I would flush the membrane and see how that changes things. Any TDS under 10 they say is ok, but I replace at 5. With a used system I would do a complete filter change just so I know what I am working with and get on a schedule for replacing them.

    Good price though it would be hard to buy a booster pump at that price.

    they sell new membranes too! I think if you're getting a 4 to 1 wastewater to purified water its ok though! just measure it with some mesuring cups!
