    [glow=Maroon, 3, 80%]What does anyone know about urchins? Do you own one? Do you like it? What kind is it? How long have you had it? Does it have any bad behaviors?

    I was just given a pencil urchin and he is in my main tank for the time being. From what I've read, though, he may be safer in the sump.

    What are your thoughts or experiences??[/glow]

    I've housed pencil urchins in many o reef tanks with no problems. I just exchanged a large one (1 year old) for a really small one from a friends. His only ate micro algae, it didn't touch any calcarious algae,
