Upgrading to a 40g breeder

    Ok like a lot of you I got the itch to upgrade when I seen the $1 per gallon sale at Petco. So I got a 40 gallon breeder for 40 bucks cant beat it. Just wondering what size bulkhead and returns to use. I drilled my standard 29g and it has a 1" bulkhead and a 3/4" return. Can I use this same setup on the 40g or do I have to go bigger?

    3/4" return should be fine. I would do 1 1/4" return if you have the room.
