I went from 6500K to 10000K  Man oh man why didn't I do this from the start.

I got a great deal at the LFS Ushio 10000K $149.00
    From Sun Aquatics $45.00

Now I know the quality and life span maybe less but for $100.00 cheaper per bulb I figure I can't go wrong

Will post pics but I'm supposed to be working

    Ushio 10k's are nice!
If they are Ushios at Sun Aquatics, why would the quality be different, aren't they the same bulb?

ps- add another 0 to your subject line.  ;) :)

No there not Ushio. They are a no name made in China.
What about my subject line their one thousand K bulbs. I like everything to be yellow ;D

I can't believe how crisp everything appears.

    1000k is a jail-cell. ;D

You should do some PAR tests or the like and see how they rate. Maybe you found a real deal there.. I am tempted to put my 150 halide over my hex, I may need a new bulb. Let us know!

Glad you like them J! [smiley=thumbs_up.gif]

I think they are manufactured in China and are being imported to Canada by http://www.sunaquatics.com/ a new upstart Aquatics company based out of Ottawa Ontario in Central Canada. From what I understand he is working on getting Retail distribution throughout Canada. Then I prices may go up to normal Retail ( I should have ordered 50)
