update on 40B peninsula build

40B coming along , here is a few pitchers to show progress.

been a long day

 

my 30 cube is up for sale if anyone is interested , all money will go into the 40



30 cube (not drilled)
oak stand and canopy (black)
acrylic sump rated for 75g tank with built in skimmer (may be PRO-CLEAR or SEA LIFE SYS. not sure)
2 x hydor K1's
250w MH mogul socket, pendant , and magnetic ballast (not sure of brand)
MH has two 14k bulbs from Ebay one has been used for about 2 months and the other is new


$300.00 for all of it

 

Looks pretty cool. I like the design. It's kind of modern.

paint is going on tomorrow, if all goes as planned it should be wet this weekend. also I need some scaping ideas . was thinking about two separate islands maybe or ______ thats about as far as i have gotten, so I need HELP. all input is welcomed and will be considered, I may even post pics of a few of the better ideas (if i get any) and take a vote. so lets see whatcha got

 

I like the 2 or 3 island look. I'm trying to come up with something creative and unusual for mine, still looking natural. Here's what I've got planned.
