    Okay so I have a AquaCRemora with maxijet 1200 and I just turned it on for the first time. No matter how high I put the collection cup, it keeps overflowing and also its making tons of noise. How do i fix it!?

    overflowing water or foam? It takes a while for the skimmer to "break in". I have the same skimmer as you.

    mostly water but some foam, I have to pour it back into the tank at least every 3-5min

    Should I just let it overflow and flow back into the tank till it "breaks in"

    Did you read the manual, maybe it has something in there. Right now I would leave it.

    i just looked at it again and it said not to use any water conditioners or it could make the skimmer produce extra wet foam and fill the collection cup very quickly. The only thing I used was some water clarifier, do you think that could be the problem?
