I found this interesting little thing while viewing it with my actinics on. It's on the top of the pic, flourescent green, looks a lot like a bta to me.
I have attached a high resolution image in a zip archive, as well as the one below.
Anyone have an idea what it is?

Dang and i thought it looks cool! too bad that they spread rapidly and pack a punch! :( <sad face> I wonder what's a good way to eliminate it. Perhaps a few second blast of a pencil torch and a rinse of fresh salt water? Problem is i have shrooms and corals growin on the rock too.

Majano's are very neat looking. I've seen some with purple tips on their green polyps. Real intense green. It looks like a poorman's BTA. hahaha. I think all the approaches you take to eliminate an Aiptasia anemone will work with majano's too. Lemon juice, vinegar, hot water, joe's juice, etc, etc.

    Hey look! I'm a Stylophora.

    omg that is a ton.
I had a patch like that which I kept bc. it looked cool.
Looked at the tank the next day and they were all gown. They released and sprouted up in the tank all over the place. Probably about 30 in total. I stayed on top of them with my own joe's juice attacking them 2 times a day for 3 days and have not seen one in about a yr.
Maybe you have a HYBRID :)
