I just purchased an umbrella leather coral and a finger leather coral. What kind of flow do they require. Also my umbrella coral has a long stauk and then the umbrella with polyps on the end, however right now the coral is laying on a piece of rock rather then being upright supporting itself. I just put them in the tank a day ago, is this normal for while they are acclamating? I also placed them very low in my tank so I wouldn't shock them with the change in lighting.

Didn't have time to take any photos, but I will try later today.

    Thanks

Dont know about a umbrella but i have a leather... Give it a couple of days to acclamate its self. Medium - low flow for the leather. You can put it in high light but its polyps wont come out as much but it will still do fine. If you want to know anything else about your leather let me know.

    Thanks Marc!

Can leathers be handled without worry of getting stung. I've read things about some corals that you should be very cautious about handling. Not that I am going to be handling them except for moving locations in the tank, but its good to know just in case.

Cool!, I will take some pictures and lunch time and post them up for all to see. I'm pretty excited they are my first coral additions to the tank.
