Hi all I bought a queen trigger and it ate all my snails and crabs. I know now that they eat all that kind of stuff and that they are not nice fish. I need to know what I can get to put in my tank so that something will eat the algae,n There is so much algae in my tank now. I turned the lights off for now.

When I bought my trigger it was with a star fish in a tank. Should I buy a star fish then or is there something else??

get a lobster or coral banded shrimp if you want an invert or just get a tang or rabbit fish since your tank is probably huge if you have a queen trigger fish or try a angel fish but they don't eat as much algae and are harder to care for. HTH!

Great guide! Any beginner recommendations on when to start dosing instead of just water changes? How many corals, easy way to start dosing kalk or 2 part?

    Thanks,
    Jim

I agree, these types of posts should be put on a point system-

when you read them you gain points and there by experience, which raises your experience rating on this forum. when written, they could be critiqued by the mods- and experience points then rewarded from such, this would help alleviate some of the load on our founders.

Hmm, is this a bill of rights in it's youth for 3reef? ;D

    any takers?

I would be happy to re-write my anemone thread.

Dosing? What is that? Why would you need to do such a thing? ;)
