I'm planning a 240 gallon FOWLR aquarium. Someone recommended I place 4 Tunze powerheads inside the tank for water movement. Has anyone had any experience with these powerheads. What size do I choose?

Those are nice and Tunze makes a nice wavemaker timer too I hear.

I believe the 'turbelle' pumps have a more critter friendly impeller design than most powerheads.

I would recommend getting the 1600 model which puts out 1600 liters an hour or about 425+ gallons an hour.

Like nearly everything Tunze makes, they are damn expensive. The 1600's are over $100 each!

So you may want to price them out against Hagens or Maxi Jets. But if money is not a primary concern, I say go for it.

Turbelle 7310 Kit (633 GPH) with sigle controler.

I am trying to keep up with Wrassman on the toys while not getting the same one  [smiley=vulcan.gif] [smiley=wacky.gif]
So My LFS has all Tunze products now and I need a new Power head somthing to replace my Hagen 802.  I was really likeing the mounting hanger instead of the "give away cups" most PH come with.  Also the wave controler is interesting but not nesesary.

I was looking more towards the "Stream" models
