I have a 30l tropical tank. it has been getting steadily greener for the past month. i have no idea what is causing it and how to stop it. i have measured the nitrates and they are at 0.25 ppm and have changed the water so that there is no green left. some shop told me to remove my plants so i did (even though i think that would make it worse). i have even started to turn off my light in a desperate attempt. my next step is nerite snails...

any suggestions? could it be my light?
