how long have you had him/her

They can be a bit shy and wary when 1st put in tanks and I had one that more or less hid everyday for 3 weeks eating when food found him rather than looking for food

after this period, once it was aclimatised it became very front and centre and developed all the normal - "come to front of tank when someone approaches in case there is food on offer" type behaviour

Hi, i'm a little late, but i just had say What! a triggerfish not eating?
that is very rare. Also flakes aren't their prefered food, try pellets. My triggers love New Life Spectrum pellets, they also love krill. This might be too late but if not a trigger will never avoid clams, so try that too.
