Would this be a useful meter for the purpose of just determining when its's time to replace bulbs in a T5 HO fixture?

    Amazon.com: Mastech MS6610 3-RANGE Luxmeter: Electronics

I'm not really interested in par and things like that, just determining if the bulb is good.

    Thanks,

    Mikro

It would/ should tell you if there was a loss of output from the lamp
but might not tell you if there was a shift in colour spectrum

    its a good idea though
so Ill bump this for anyone elses input
