    Thinking about one of these ? Will still run my canister as well, but just hope this will tidy the top side up a bit and allow me to be rid of the ugly skimmer,, read an article that said scrap the bio balls and insert live rock ?

    Your thoughts my friends ?

    I am a little confused here... What are you looking to get and what do you already have as far as on and in your tank?

    Boyu DG 2520 skimmer, enhiem classic canister (want to keep this as well) and the tank is 90 gallon is 125 lb LR

    You would be better off building a sump than the toms rapids pro filter.

    yes you Can, with a HOB overflow. if you can drill your tank thats always best but there are a very good plan B. i believe the Eshopps overflow is one of the top rated. check em out!

    And I can run the current skimmer in the sump so I don't have the eyesore ?
    How big, flow rate and how much live Rock will I Need ? Would I also be able to put my Coralife 6X uv filter in line?
